Following Milan and Paris, Milano Fashion Official arrives in Cannes for the second time, on the occasion of the extraordinary Cannes Film Festival. The event’s organisers are Monica Foglia, Maurizio Raneri, and Sonia Bertaglia (born into the industry), head of marketing and architects of international runway shows at prestigious venues worldwide. For many years, they have been a cornerstone of the Made in Italy fashion circuit and a fixture of Milan Fashion Week.
The prestigious Fashion Show will take place on 17 May 2026 at the Palais Clément Massier: following the spectacular runway presentations, the evening will continue with an exclusive gathering of actors, artists, fashion designers, buyers, celebrities and international brand ambassadors. A true “Unforgettable Experience” bringing the worlds of fashion and entertainment, accompanied by fine sparkling wines, a live Show Cooking experience and tastings of culinary delicacies, set within the enchanting surroundings of the estate’s park and swimming pool.
The Palais is located in Golfe-Juan, between Cannes and Juan-les-Pins. Celebrated for its singular style, it is set within a 3.5-hectare arboretum, an environment of artistry and elegance that embodies the luxury of the Côte d’Azur. The event, dedicated to Art, Beauty and Haute Couture, has long served as a platform to celebrate the finest collections. Bringing with them their national flags, costume heritage and design traditions, designers arrive from countries including Ukraine, Algeria, Russia, Brazil, Bolivia, Spain, France and Italy.
A distinguished and highly respected panel of judges has been assembled for this extraordinary edition, comprising: Massimo Basile – Publisher and Executive Member of the Swiss National Chamber of Fashion / Massinissa Askeur – Fashion Designer / Gianni Cirillo – Fashion Designer / Gennaro Ciociano – Lawyer. It will be their task to assess the Fashion Show theme of Brigitte Bardot, reinterpreted by the Fashion Designers, celebrating the iconic Diva’s dream of beauty and freedom from the 1950s and 1960s… a blend of innocence and allure that made it “cool” to understand that true elegance is not about excess, but about delicate natural hues and pastel tones, the hallmarks of the authentic B.B. signature style.
The distinguished guest list features brand ambassadors, actors and influencers, including Patricia Delinois, Matilda Cohen and Christian James Madsen. The cast of the film Sisters Of Vengeance, directed by George Monteiro, will also be in attendance. The film has been announced as a frontrunner at the Cannes World Film Festival 2026. This thriller centres on a group of women who find the strength to transform pain into empowerment and redemption.
The lead actress of the cast, Patricia Delinois, will attend the Cannes event as VIP Guest. This exclusive presence further strengthens the privileged bond between the worlds of cinema and fashion. The long-standing relationship with the Ambasciata Algerina, through Ambassador Massinissa Askeur and cultural cooperation attaché Karim Benandjoud, lends the event a “distinctive international character”, further enhancing its spirit of cross-cultural dialogue.
The official photo reporters, Roberto Meneghin, Roberto Tabbia, and Ettore Tagliabue, who have supported the organisation for over ten editions and are always ready to embark on international assignments, flying off to new runways and photo shoots around the world. The evening will be hosted by presenters Elisabetta Del Medico and Mike Comincini, with technical direction by Alessandro Arrighini and TV Media Partner Emanuele Sicignano.
Adding a further layer of distinction to the event will be performances by exceptional artists, including Cinzia Carreri (who performed the Italian national anthem at Livigno during the opening ceremony of the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games) and Virgilio Montorio (the celebrated saxophonist renowned for his iconic red carpet compositions).
Ensuring that every detail unfolds in a perfectly polished and seamless manner, a team of consummate professionals stands at the ready: Andrea Cormier Wacker, Milano Fashion partner and Catwalk Coach, will be responsible for coordinating the choreography and the models; Shaila Sabatini, backstage fashion coordinator, a long-standing figure within the M.F. international project, whose consummate professionalism consistently ensures each collection tableau is presented to perfection under the artistic direction of Maurizio Raneri in un’impeccably harmonious running order. The MFO is a project in perpetual evolution: in partnership with the Camera Italiana dell’Acconciatura, with hair artistic director Vincenzo De Cicco and Make-Up Artistic Director Nataliya Ternovetska, a special award is presented at each edition to the Beauty Service Ambassadors.
The date is therefore set for 17 May 2026 at the Palais Clément Massier. A date to mark in one’s diary; an event not to be missed. Milano Fashion Official promises, with this special edition, by virtue of its location, its guests and the collections set to grace the catwalk, to be a truly extraordinary event.
