Hollywood stars William Baldwin and Tom Arnold for the “Christmas Charity Event – With the Eyes of Children” hosted by actress Claudia Conte. Extraordinary cast and participation at the “Christmas Charity Event – With the Eyes of Children” in favour of the Bambino Gesù Foundation that took place on Monday 13 December at “The Building Hotel” in Rome organized by Claudia Conte, actress and cultural entrepreneur that has always been very close to the topic of social responsibility.
La Conte gathered for the important social campaign Fragments of Light of the Bambino Gesù Foundation many international VIPs and sportsmen, as well as personalities from finance and industry. The charity event was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Rai for the social sector and carried out with the support of important Italian institutions and companies (Istituto per il Credito Sportivo, Nexi, BFF, ACEA, Poste Italiane, Anima, Banca del Fucino, Circolo Canottieri Aniene, AXA, Carmignac, Generali – C.so Trieste, 20ventuno and SACE Agency).
Big applause for Carlo Verdone, one of the most famous actors in Italy who supported the organization is launching the App of the Bambino Gesù Foundation with which it is possible to make direct donations. It was a pleasure to interview the famous actor during the evening about his new film where he played himself as a candidate for Mayor of Rome. The renowned actor confirmed the importance of charity in this difficult moment and especially in favour of such a pediatric hospital as Bambino Gesu in Rome.
It also has been a big surprise to see such famous Hollywood stars as American actors Tom Arnold and William Baldwin who are filming two movies in Rome. Hollywood stars participated during the evening, and it was a pleasure to interview them on the importance of charity and especially for children in such difficult times.
Also present were such Italian artists as Lina Sastri, Mariano Rigillo, Anna Teresa Rossini and Pino Calabrese who are considered real sacred columns of the Italian theatre. Other famous people present at the evening were Barbara Bouchet, Elisabetta Pellini, Ingrid Muccitelli, Mauro Masi, Giulio and Victoria Torlonia, the master Umberto Scipione and the singer Annalisa Minetti who performed during the charity evening.
During the event, a charity auction took place featuring the stars of the current Italian national football team and with the participation of the actors Fabio Fulco, Massimiliano Bruno and Marcello Cirillo. To support the Bambino Gesù Foundation also great sportsmen such as the Olympic and Paralympic athletes Alessia Scortichini, Giorgia Consiglio, Francesca Rubeo and Ludovica Serafini and the former world champion footballer Simone Perrotta. It really has been a big night with important stars for an amazing cause!
