Trends for Events 2020 “Wine, Weddings and Events”

After the 2018 and 2019 great success, the third edition of Trends for Events during the Milano Wine Week 2020 conquered the public at Palazzo Bovara. It was a special event, a hybrid format, partly digital and partly in presence, dedicated to the theme “Wedding & Wine”.

Wine has always played a significant role within each event or wedding reception. From the Cana Wedding to today, wine accompanies Toasts and Life’s emotions.

Trends for Events this year focused on the relationship between Wine and Weddings by analyzing evolutions and trends, decorations and fittings, products and cellars, now used as locations for any celebration.

Getting married in the vineyards is a growing trend as well as Wine tourism. From the prestigious bottles consumed to celebrate the Wedding proposal to the Sparkling wine for the Aperitif that follows the Rite, from the wines that accompany the Menu to the cake cut toast to the open bar, today’s couples select with much more attention than in the past the quality of the products for the most important day of their life.

From the regions of the North to the South, Italy offers a great variety of landscapes and scenarios to get married in the vineyards, with renowned wine labels that are exported and tasted all over the world. Trends for Events is an innovative format created by Diana Da Ros, International Wedding & Event planner, a unique occasion to discover new ideas, new products, new trends to get inspired to plan original and exclusive events.

Exceptionally only for this year, in support of the entire Events and Weddings sector that has been severely impacted by the Covid-19 emergency, Trends for Events is accessible online for free. A strong signal that is meant to be a message of hope and courage to restart Wedding and Events Business.
