Neither rain nor clouds could dim the brilliance of the women who gathered at Motorworld Kemptthal on Sunday, 5 October, for a day devoted to passion, purpose, and performance. The GT Queens event, hosted at the iconic Motorworld Zurich, was a celebration of cars, a declaration of empowerment on how women continue to shape the world of mobility, design, and leadership.
The atmosphere pulsed with energy as guests arrived at the GT Queens Lounge, a space designed to inspire dialogue, creativity, and connection. The event’s organiser, Antoinette Petruccelli, guided the day with poise and warmth, moderating an engaging panel discussion that became the very heart of the gathering. The Lounge itself, elegantly curated, was a symbol of sophistication and shared passion, where conversations flowed as easily as admiration for the stunning display of vehicles surrounding the space.
The panel featured a remarkable lineup of trailblazing women, each representing excellence in her own field: Nathalie Meyer, Country President of Chubb Switzerland; Maral Gharazian, professional race car driver; Alessia Ombrella, automotive designer; Julia Gut, founder of Race Like Her Classic Car Club; and Olga Gavrilova, media and content creator in motorsports. Together, these women shared insights into leadership, mentorship, and creativity, breaking barriers in traditionally male-dominated industries. Their dialogue resonated deeply, exploring how resilience, innovation, and vision can redefine not only careers but the perception of women in the automotive world. Their collective message was clear and empowering: women are the ones in control of the wheel, steering towards progress and transformation.
Throughout the day, guests experienced the perfect balance of conversation, inspiration, and aesthetic pleasure. Creativity took centre stage as art and automotive passion merged into a captivating display. Two young artists, Ilaria Mereu, together with Alessia Ombrella, presented a series of automotive-inspired artworks that captured the emotion of movement and design. Their creations celebrated the fusion between art and engineering, a reminder that beauty and innovation can coexist seamlessly when guided by a shared passion. The event would not have been complete without the invaluable support of its partners.
