It is with immense pleasure that we present the 2023 edition of “MONS Tour by Chef Chris Oberhammer”, an extraordinary event that is gearing up to celebrate its second edition. This project, conceived and promoted by Chef Chris Oberhammer, the mastermind behind the renowned Tilia Restaurant, a Michelin-starred gem in Dobbiaco.

The event has been officially launched on Tuesday, 23rd May 2023, at the prestigious Boutique Frank Kraler, headquartered in the heart of Dobbiaco. The launch was attended by illustrious personalities, partners, sponsors, media representatives, and guests.

This is an exhilarating journey, unfolding in four stages, each lasting four days, traversing the magnificent regions of South Tyrol, Trentino, and Lombardy in the months of June, July, September, and October. The purpose of this event is to narrate the territories, people, local traditions, and regional culinary delights, placing great emphasis on territorial sustainability and environmental respect.

Following the tremendous success of its inaugural edition in 2022, where Chef Chris Oberhammer covered approximately 350 kilometres from the splendid Dolomites to the enchanting Lake Garda in just nine days, the time has come for a new captivating adventure.

Chef Chris, accompanied by a team of logistics and communications experts, will embark once again to explore breathtaking landscapes, encounter extraordinary individuals, and live unique experiences, including:

  • Collaborative gourmet dinners, where the talents of internationally renowned chefs merge with those of the finest local culinary experts.
  • Guided foraging excursions led by experts reveal nature’s secrets and hidden culinary treasures.
  • Live experiences in close contact with nature allow participants to rediscover the pleasure of immersing themselves in the unspoiled beauty of the surroundings.

The tour will unfold in four stages, each lasting four days:

  • The first stage will take place from 11th to 14th June in the enchanting South Tyrol.

  • The third stage will take place from 11th to 13th September, offering the opportunity to explore the beauties of Lombardy.

The culmination of this adventure will be the event in October, also hosting the ninth and tenth editions of the DOLOMITI GOURMET FESTIVAL, an unmissable occasion that, as always, will be conceived personally by Chef Oberhammer. During this festival, taking place from 6th to 9th October, participants will have the opportunity to savour dishes prepared by renowned Italian and international chefs, both those awarded Michelin stars and those offering an unforgettable culinary experience despite lacking such recognition.
