Il Gran Ballo in Maschera, scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 2022, at Circolo Filologico Milanese, is an ode to the beauty and variety of the arts. The event is inspired by Giuseppe Verdi’s opera, “Un ballo in Maschera,” a work that melds tragedy and lightness into a complex score where feelings of passion, friendship, and patriotism are masterfully intertwined.
The Stravinsky Orchestra, composed of talented musicians from various parts of the world, will guide the musical entertainment, accompanying attendees on a journey through famous waltzes and polonaises. Renowned musical artists such as Sofia Villanueva, Carlos Verduga, Tatiana Fedevich, Gianfranco Messina, Lucia Colonna, and Alexander Zyumbrovskiy, alongside Orchestra Director and pianist M. Simonetta Tancredi, will deliver an unforgettable performance.
Alongside the Stravinsky Orchestra, the emotive voices of singers Maria Veretenina, Soprano from Tallin, Larissa Yudina, and the baritone Demetrio Colaci, the event’s Godfather, will breathe life into the touching scenes of Verdi’s opera. Additionally, the evening will feature a special performance by soprano Natali Art, providing a vibrant interpretation during dinner.

During the evening, a charity lottery will take place, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Beteavòn Association, the first and only kosher social kitchen in Italy, providing free meals to those in need.
