In the splendid frame of Monaco, on a beautiful evening in June, the spotlight was on the long-awaited event Twiga Worldly Women, which took place at Twiga in Monte Carlo. The evening, masterfully directed by Elena Marchiori (Twiga Marketing Director), Beatrice Roda (Twiga Junior Marketing Manager), and Sabine Moretti (Sales and Event Director), was a true success befitting the prestigious location and the Principality.

Alessia Castelli – Ambassador Twiga Monte Carlo
An exquisite evening followed by an exclusive cocktail for the 130 prestigious guests who came from all over Europe. The event was attended by Maurizio di Maggio from RadioMontecarlo, Fashion Designer Flavia Cannata, and the entire Monaco business community. What started as a simple “unique” project has received such positive enthusiasm and success that work is underway to organize more events for both summer and winter.
Behind the scenes of this important project is the Monaco businesswoman Alessia Castelli. Style, talent, and experience are the perfect words to describe her. It all started a few years ago when she had the opportunity to meet Patrizia Spinelli, CEO of Majestas and right-hand woman of Flavio Briatore, as she had to write an article dedicated to him. Since then, friendship and mutual respect have developed between Alessia and Patrizia.

Her eclectic nature, in perfect harmony with her professional qualities, has led her in recent years to become a highly appreciated and successful writer, collaborating with prestigious international Luxury & Lifestyle Magazines and directing the prestigious publication Monaco Woman.

All of this led to her being asked last year to become an Ambassador for Twiga in Monte Carlo, a proposal she accepted with great pride and satisfaction, confident in the prestigious role. They thought of a normal woman… a mother, an entrepreneur with cultural interests and a more mature image (more Lady and less Showgirl).

We take this opportunity to ask Alessia Castelli some questions in order to grasp the essence of her vision and mission as the Ambassador of Twiga in Monte Carlo.

What are the key points of your role?
My role is to give a different image to Twiga: Art, Food, Fashion… what I am, reflecting my personality and spirit. A strong focus on environmental sustainability is absolutely essential; in fact, the Kate Powers Foundation took part in the event (created in honour of Kate, a very influential woman here in Monaco whom I knew well and who recently passed away from a serious illness). They are very active in this field with their President, Ronda.

The first event focused on Art. Why this choice?
“I chose Cesare Catania as the star of the first evening because he is an eclectic and innovative artist. With his wonderful work entitled ‘Embrace,’ I was certain that I could convey a beautiful message full of sentiment and passion. Renowned as a painter, sculptor, and engineer, he is also passionate about music. He strongly desired it, and he asked me to present and launch his NFT at the event here at Twiga… what can I say? It received a great standing ovation.”

With confidence in the event’s success and the vision and mission of Twiga’s Ambassador in Monte Carlo, Alessia Castelli, we can only look forward to the next exclusive Luxury & Lifestyle events.

A warm thank you to sponsor Vini La Scolca and Media Partner Monaco Woman.
