The Viken Group and Tillberg Design of Sweden (TDoS) have once again demonstrated their expertise in the yachting industry by designing the luxurious 207-meter Four Seasons Yacht. The superyacht will be the world’s first yacht liner, a new breed of exclusive vessels combining the scale of small and intimate cruise ships with superyachts’ amenities, splendour and sophistication. TDoS was appointed for the designing, master planning and exterior styling, as well as for the design of all the guest suite accommodations, including the funnel suite.
“Our new project started with a very clear and unique vision from our client,” said TDoS Partner and Executive Director Fredrik Johansson. “The brief was condensed into a single line: Imagine that Christina O meets James Bond. Every part and every detail of the yacht has to be perfect.” The Four Seasons Yacht is engineered and constructed by Fincantieri and is part of The Viken Group, which includes Tillberg Design of Sweden, Hot Lab and Thalia Marine. It provides a full range of design, engineering and construction services for clients in the superyacht industry. The studio has also created a few iconic shared areas onboard.
The yacht will feature a large deck space of over 2,500 sq m, with an infinity pool, spa, gym, cinema, shops and several restaurants. It has a capacity of up to 300 guests and 100 staff and is designed to look like a floating five-star hotel; it also features a range of luxurious amenities, including a helicopter landing pad, multiple tenders and customised water toys. Interior design is inspired by the classic lines of the E-type Jaguar, with luxurious materials such as marble, bronze and onyx used throughout. The exterior styling has been designed to be sleek and modern, with a subtle yet sophisticated colour palette and the interior is full of luxurious materials and amenities.
