Bamboo Vibes: a season of live music bearing the Armani signature

As autumn arrives, Armani/Bamboo Bar is opening the doors of Bamboo Vibes, its first entertainment season offering live music as the main attraction. Every month, the bar on the seventh floor of the Armani Hotel Milano will be putting on a concert, turning into a real nightclub featuring lighting that paints a picture of Milan by night.

Italian and international artists will be headlining a busy calendar, turning Armani/Bamboo Bar into a place for music lovers to meet. The season opens on Tuesday, 24 October, with a performance of ‘Oriundo’ by the trio led by Simone Prattico, a musician of rare versatility inspired by the Mediterranean and Afro-American influences. His music speaks an intense, tribal and romantic language. The evening is a part of the JazzMi Festival.

Things continue on Tuesday, 21 November, with Accordi Disaccordi in a show rooted in gipsy jazz. The band’s repertoire comprises original songs that marry influences from jazz, swing, blues and traditional music, not forgetting traces of the famed guitarist Django Reinhardt. The December concert will be all dressed up for the occasion to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, with a DJ Set from Alessio Bertallot, who combines electronic sounds and poetry and will usher in a New Year signed Armani.

The New Year will see a concert by Elephant Claps on Tuesday 23 January, an amazing musical project that uses just the human voice in a world of afro-funk-jazz sounds. There will be more concerts throughout 2024. The shows offer an experience that unites music with drinks and dishes created by chef Francesco Mascheroni based on his personal philosophy: “I cook what I like to eat: traditional recipes, with a balance of textures, scents and flavours inspired by international cuisine, but also drawing from the Italian gastronomic heritage”.

Three tasting courses – ‘La Mia Cucina Vegetale’ [My Vegetable Cuisine], ‘Presente’ [Present] and ‘Tradizione in Evoluzione’ [Tradition in Evolution] – are available at Armani/Restaurant, balancing techniques, trends and local inspirations that welcome culinary accents from outside Italy’s borders. Mascheroni’s cooking has clear contours and contrasts that emphasise the flavours of seasonal ingredients that are unveiled along a journey packed with complex flavours.

These dishes capture us with their beauty and hold us with their ingredients, offering a superbly refined experience.
