Vicenza Oro… September is ready to shine

Vicenza Oro – The Jewellery Boutique Show, the most popular European Exhibition returns from 9th to 13th September in the Vicenza Exhibition Centre together with the third edition of VO Vintage (9-11 September 2022).

This tradeshow marks a massive participation of exhibitors (more than one thousand brands), close to pre-Covid levels and the long-awaited return of the Far East. Buyers from all over the world will also return to Vicenza thanks to the incoming program activated with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency.

Vicenza Oro is a unique opportunity to discover the latest news and trends in High Jewelry in an absolute preview from the ICON community. Vicenza Oro represents all the voices of the sector: it’s not by chance that the edition’s slogan is #allatonce. A real business hub for the sector, where the trends will be dictated by the creations of the ICON community that hosts the luxury brands of Made in Italy and international jewelry. Visitors will be able to admire the original proposals of The Design Room with designers of the caliber of Alessio Boschi, whose creations are collected as works of art, Netali Nissim, famous for the jewelry decorated with the symbol of the eye, Celine Roelens, with her jewels inspired by the world of insects, José María Goñi and Mousson Atelier with its handmade creations.

An essential presence in Vicenzaoro is Roberto Coin with his iconic collections and the new Art Deco line, a selection of new prêt-à-porter pieces from the most artistic collections of the brand and Navarra, the 2022 collection inspired by Navarre coat-of-arms and its 16 golden chains. The Princess Flower collection is enriched with colors, in particular the intense blue of the lapis lazuli and the blue of the turquoise.

Among the high-profile ones, FOPE will be present with its patented flexible gold link chains, appreciated all over the world. This autumn, this Vicenza-based Maison will give a preview of the new unisex Luna collection and will showcase the Flex’it bracelets, available in yellow, white and pink gold, and the new extensible necklaces to be worn adherent to the skin but comfortable, thanks to the soft and supple mesh. The novelties of the most recent FOPE production are the Essentials, 18-karat gold rings and earrings and the contemporary proposals of Aria, dedicated to the young.

Crivelli, founded in Valenza, will showcase its creations which combine precious stones, vibrant colors and different shades of gold, revealing their ability to re-elaborate the classic style in a contemporary style.

On the first day, 9th September, Club degli Orafi Italy e Intesa San Paolo Bank Studies and Research Department present “The Italian Goldsmith sector. A complex and uncertain scenario”. Stefania Trenti, Head of Industry Research of the Intesa San Paolo Bank Studies and Research Department and Augusto Ungarelli president of Vendorafa Lombardi will portray the state of art of the Italian goldsmith-jewelry. Trend vision and Metaverse – On Saturday 10th September on the occasion of the presentation of the new Trendbook 2024 + CHROMAVERSE  “How the Metaverse and NFT’s are effecting Consumers and the Jewellery sector”, Paola De LucaFounder and Creative Director of Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting, will explore the evolution of consumers in the world of luxury and will give a forecast of the emerging trends covering the next 18 months.

Vintage and antique jewelry: between past and modernity

On Saturday 10th September in the afternoon there will be an interesting talk about vintage and antique jewelry.

Marianne Fisher at the helm of Paul Fisher Inc. and Ida Faerber of Faerber Collection will exchange their visions with Amanda Triossi, jewelry historian, author and curator, and Marie-Cécile Cisamolo, Jewelry Specialist, Director at Sotheby’s Geneva. The talk is moderated by Donatella Zappieri, jewelry business consultant.
