The Ice Skater Bride Dream in New York

Dreams have no limits. There are places we have dreamed of since we were children, and there are places we dream of thanks to movies, books, stories, and idols. There are places in this world that we dream of and sometimes we don’t know why those places are where we imagine living for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is a story about a dream. This is a story about my Passion for Sports & Fashion.

Passion needs dedication to reach top levels. Passion requires sacrifices to achieve success. It takes work. No sport can be easily successful. The young talented Italian skater Annalisa Memo knows it very well. She was born in a small town near Venice, Italy, in 2004, devoted to hard daily figure skating training, a perfectionist, an excellent student at school and passionate about Sport & Fashion.

Every day she works hard to balance being a perfect student and a perfect skater. Her speciality is group figure roller skating, where coordination, teamwork and harmony are everything. Her dream since she was a little girl was to go to New York City one day.

She loves to travel, she loves skating, and she dedicates every day to her passion. Is there something more dreamy than skating in New York? Annalisa could not imagine her dream coming true on her 18th Birthday.

Her family wanted something special to celebrate her, but they needed to know exactly how and where. Who do you need to make a dream come true for an unforgettable celebration? Of course, an Event Planner!

Thanks to the meticulous collaboration of the renowned international wedding & event planner Diana Da Ros with Sergio Rossi, Wolford X Sergio Rossi, Justin Alexander and Viktor & Rolf Mariage, Patrizia Camba and the Wollman Ice Rink, Annalisa took on the role of a young bride in the middle of the ice rink at Central Park, skating alone in a dream, on a particular January morning. Diana knows how to amaze and excite very well, so when a client asks for something special, she works so hard with passion and love to exceed expectations.

That’s why she involved great Fashion Brands for this surprise. For the first time in Fashion, Sergio Rossi created glamorous custom-made lace-up ice skates with precious details. There’s no limit to let dreams come true.

To add more and more Magic to this special occasion, the famous make-up artist Angie Valentino, Italian based in New York City, transformed her into an ice-frozen doll with special effects make-up. Annalisa wore the Wolford x Sergio Rossi black suit, a perfect outfit to dance on the ice first, and then a mini feathered airy flower off-shoulder dress by Justin Alexander with a custom-made in Italy bridal coat by the Italian designer Patrizia Camba from Sardinia Island. Angie is a top make-up artist in the USA.

She was interviewed on The New York Times yesterday; she is an excellent example of how it’s possible to transform a dream into reality, of how an international career in the luxury fashion system can grow up more and more, becoming a real trendsetter in her sector.

To capture Annalisa’s emotions forever there could only be an exceptionally talented photographer: Pasquale Cuorvo, from Italy, who specializes in Weddings & Events, with incredible sensitivity and attention to emotions.

Wollman Ice Rink was the perfect scenography to set this surprise for Annalisa. Not only because it’s in the middle of Central Park but because it’s also a part of the history of NYC. The skyline behind the trees is fantastic and the atmosphere is surreal. She will remember forever that she did for the very first time something that no one has ever done before.

Today, renting the rink for special occasions such as wedding proposals, symbolic ceremonies, and parties is possible. Anything you would like to celebrate the rink has the Magic to add to your special moment. Make unique memories; they will last forever. When Fashion meets sport, where skating is a dream becomes a reality.
