Borsalino fall-winter 2023/24: premieres a journey to space

The Borsalino Fall-Winter 2023/24 collection marks the debut of Maison’s new Head of Style Jacopo Politi. With the collection launch of the Fall-Winter 2023/24, Borsalino opens a new chapter in its long history. Head of Style, Jacopo Politi debuts, making the theme of travel, a longstanding DNA element for the Made in Alessandria Maison, his very own to accompany us on an extra-terrestrial discovery walk towards the cosmos. The result is a collection that looks towards the future for inspiration because it is within this mystery and suspended horizon of space that one can open possibilities for a better world.

Hence the select panorama of materials such as lurex, rhinestones, holographic effects, laminations, tulle, silver yarns and metallic logos that decor the Borsalino Fall-Winter 2023/24 collection and that spread an enchanted light and glow to illuminate these difficult times and guides us towards the discovery of transported destinations.

Cosmic inspiration contaminates both the selection of materials and the collection shapes to explore new stylistic frontiers. Felt, the premiere symbol of the Borsalino craftsmanship tradition, is also available in a wool version, enriched with the misty processes of a ‘nebula-effect’, ‘land of Mars’, and ‘starry skies.’  The range of colours are a sophisticated register featuring space-inspired palettes of Sunny Moon, Opulence Gray, Fermented Mastic and Moon Stuck – selected to give carry-over models new energy. Alongside the classic Fedora, Claudette and Sophie silhouettes, unpublished contemporary felts stand out: making way and space for wide and flat-brimmed unisex model Andrea, the Timothee Baseball cap, two new bucket hats the Noa and Zoe; the ultra-feminine styles Jo, Kris, and Rossy, with finally to the Dario, the first Made in Alessandria Borsalino Fedora with stylish removable cold-proof ear flaps.

There are many innovations within the Borsalino Fabric hats collection that strongly highlight themes of the season. Firstly, we have the beret, an iconic style with hundreds of stories and historical nuances, marking a great comeback in the micro-Leslie and maxi Sveva versions. The Baseball Cap continues to confirm its status as a must-have essential with the new Yvan model, featuring a flat visor with a handy loop for glasses and the Alix that sports ear flaps. The new Beanie in boucle wool takes on the name Sandy and the novelty of all novelties:  the Cirillo beanie, a rock-climbing inspired model in technical honeycomb fabric with a Velcro 2.0 closure. The finale of knit proposals featured includes the Enrique micro-beanie, the Joan and Dora braided berets, and the sort cashmere knit baseball cap, the Roger. And who could pass by the proposed sophisticated Valentina model.

In an organic and integrated path of these collection hats, the Borsalino Soft Accessories also go into orbit, contaminated by space and its sideral landscapes. Scarves of all weights, shawls, mini stoles and scrunchies meet the ‘nebula effect’ and ‘starry skies’ workmanship through the select Jacquard, lurex, animalier and rubberized metal logos that enhance creativity and Artisanal craftsmanship.

Premiere and discover the new Borsalino Fall-Winter 2023/24 collection: a stylistic visionary journey that enhances and highlights the renowned manufacturing tradition of the Made in Alessandria Maison while accompanying it into the future.
