What is the secret to being awarded every year for so many years? How can you exceed clients’ expectations every year?
Among other accolades and recognitions, we have been awarded the ‘World’s Leading Resort’ for 25 consecutive years due to the uniqueness of our resort, which is a destination in its own right. No other place offers such a variety of hotels, services, and facilities at the highest level. The secret to ‘surprising and delighting’ our guests year after year is never resting on our laurels. We continually brainstorm new ideas and projects for the next season, pushing ourselves to think outside the box and anticipate changes. Our guest relations team also collects feedback from about 2000 questionnaires annually, helping us improve the guest experience and introduce new services and facilities.

Can you tell us a little bit more about how you manage events and the spaces available for events?

At the beginning of July this year, Forte Village hosted an important luxury event for Dolce & Gabbana, with the entire resort and spaces completely customized. How long did it take for the set-up and planning of the Dolce & Gabbana event? What was the media response?
The Dolce & Gabbana event at Forte Village showcased our capability to host large-scale luxury events and highlighted the richness of Sardinia’s cultural heritage. It took several months of meticulous planning in order to meet all the different needs. The first day transformed Piazza Luisa with golden hay bales and light displays for the Alta Gioielleria presentation. The Alta Moda Collection was showcased at the archaeological site of Nora, and the men’s collection was presented at Forte Arena with a recreated Sant’Efisio parade featuring 700 participants. Concerts by Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry bookended the event, enhancing the image and notoriety of Forte Village and Sardinia as top-level destinations. We estimate the international press coverage reached over 3 million readers approximately and social media exposure was extraordinary: we truly believe this will have an extremely positive impact on tourism and the future local economy.
Forte Village opens the doors to luxury events and destination weddings, thanks to its spaces, plan B, spaces and kitchens adaptable to any need and tradition a variety of excellent suppliers and professionals that collaborate with the resort. How do you see the future of weddings and events at Forte Village in the next few years?
The future of weddings and events at Forte Village looks incredibly promising. In this regard, we recently hosted ‘Amour 2024,’ an event completely devoted to wedding and romance travel. We believe that our resort’s breathtaking natural surroundings, featuring pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and lush gardens, serve as an enchanting backdrop for wedding ceremonies and romantic escapes. Our exclusive offerings are complemented by our world-class accommodations, facilities, and amenities, including gourmet and Michelin-starred dining options and our internationally renowned Thalasso Spa with a Private Spa for intimate moments, to mention just a few. Our ability to adapt spaces and services to meet diverse cultural and traditional requirements also makes us an ideal destination. Our connection with the world of top sports has grown significantly over the years, with the introduction of over 20 sports academies and collaborations with sports legends. We continuously expand our offerings to include new sports and training programs, such as the Real Madrid Foundation Clinic for football and the High-Performance Method for comprehensive athlete training. These initiatives enhance our guests’ experiences and solidify Forte Village’s reputation as a premier sports destination.
