As a premier showcase of “Made in Piemonte,” the event highlighted the region’s manufacturing excellence across various sectors, including furniture, design, fashion, jewellery, textiles, food, cosmetics, and wellness. It also featured a captivating segment on hypercars and supercars, building on the success of the inaugural Hypercar Event in 2023. This addition provided a comprehensive view of elegance, innovation, and craftsmanship, illustrating Piemonte’s continuous pursuit of excellence.

The event was organized under the Integrated Supply Chain Projects (Progetti Integrati di Filiera—PIF), which encompass sectors such as Fashion, Luxury, Design, Agrifood, Textiles, Health and wellness, Automotive and transportation, Mechatronics, and Aerospace. These initiatives, promoted by Regione Piemonte, co-funded by the PR FESR 2021-2027, and implemented by Piemonte Agency, received additional support from the Torino Chamber of Commerce for the Hypercar segment.

The event hosted 107 Piemonte-based companies specializing in high-end consumer goods in its third edition. Over 70 international buyers and operators from regions including Europe, the USA, Canada, the Gulf countries, and Southeast Asia participated, resulting in approximately 800 B2B meetings.

Additionally, the Hypercar Event facilitated over 500 meetings between 47 buyers and 70 Piemonte-based companies. Notable participants in this segment included prominent brands such as Automobili Pininfarina, Ducati, Italdesign Giugiaro, McLaren, and ZF Engineering Solution.

The event commenced with a conference addressing market trends in consumer goods and high-performance vehicles, featuring insights from key leaders and institutions in Piemonte’s luxury industries. Central to the event was an exhibition path showcasing products exemplifying Piemonte’s manufacturing prowess alongside a display of eight hypercars, including models like the Aspark Owl by MAT and the Battista Edizione Nino Farina by Automobili Pininfarina.

The opening ceremony included remarks from dignitaries such as Andrea Tronzano, Regional Minister of Regione Piemonte; Fabio Giulivi, Mayor of Venaria Reale; and Chiara Teolato, Director of the Consortium of the Royal Residences of the House of Savoy.

Further insights were shared by Dario Peirone, President of Piemonte Agency, and leaders from organizations like Unioncamere Piemonte and Confindustria Piemonte. A roundtable discussion titled Redesigning Luxury: Opportunities and Perspectives from International Markets followed, featuring distinguished panellists from renowned brands.

Two technical roundtables on hypercars explored the journey from design to production and the future of hypercar performance. Industry leaders discussed sustainability, electrification, and innovative materials moderated by experts from design and engineering institutions.

Andrea Tronzano emphasized Piemonte’s commitment to excellence through initiatives supporting competitiveness, internationalization, and innovation. He highlighted ongoing calls for funding, including significant allocations for SMEs and research initiatives to bolster the region’s luxury sectors. Similarly, Dario Gallina, President of the Torino Chamber of Commerce, noted the resilience of Piemonte’s luxury automotive market, underscoring its ability to meet the demands of exclusive clientele.

Experience Piemonte reaffirmed its role as a platform for celebrating and promoting Piemonte’s luxury industries, fostering direct connections between regional businesses and global buyers, and reinforcing the international prestige of “Made in Piemonte.”
