Back to the Moon & Beyond

Gala Dinner & Party Luxury Event… We live in a world where a great Experience is the best gift you can give to your Guests. We live in a world where thousands of images meet our eyes every day, we live in a world where the Extraordinary meets the Ordinary, we live in a world where Emotions are the power of Life. We all need to have live experiences that we will remember forever.

Have you ever touched a piece of Moon? It’s something that you can’t see and do every day. When you go to Museums you can see incredible objects, materials, artworks with your eyes, but you can’t touch them.

What if, during an event, you would be able to touch the Moon? Can you imagine the emotion? You will be amazed. This is what happened at Trends for Events, the super exclusive three days of training with conferences, masterclasses and parties to discover new ideas, new products and new trends to organize original and exclusive events, created by Diana Da Ros, International Wedding & Event planner. The second edition was held in the beautiful setting of Villa e Palazzo Aminta, Hotel Beauty & SPA, a five-star luxury resort located in Stresa, Lake Maggiore.

On this special occasion, in 2019, honouring the 50th Anniversary of the Moon landing, during the Gala dinner party inspired by the lunar atmospheres, 2001 Space Odyssey, Andreè Courreges and the ’60s, every guest, thanks to Theatrum Mundi, had the opportunity to see and touch a real piece of Moon! Lunar Meteorite equalized with NWA 11472. Found in March 2017 in an unknown region of the Sahara Desert. Extremely rare fragment of extraterrestrial material.

It looks different from all other terrestrial materials, when you hold it in your hands it’s very emotional. This rare piece of Moon appeared during the Gala dinner with a special Magician show, surrounded by a suggestive atmosphere and all attendees coming from all over the world (USA, Russia, India, France, Australia, UK) were extremely surprised.

Every detail was extremely accurate, from sets and decorations to the mise en place, from graphics to lighting design to furniture, music, entertainment and after-party. Another surprise for the guests was the exhibition of a rare Soviet pressurized spacesuit Sokol KV-2 worn by Russian cosmonaut Gennadi Strekalov during the Soyuz TM -10 mission, from August 1st to December 10th, 1990.

This spacesuit stayed into space for a total of 130 days, 20 hours and 35 minutes.
The Back to the Moon gala dinner was a unique occasion to touch it and see it up so close. After dinner, a spectacular Moon cake designed and made by the cake designer of HavesomecakeUk, Enrique Rojas, welcomed all guests to the dancefloor. Everyone danced all night long. A “lunar” experience to remember and to tell in the years to come. Every year all participants also receive the Luxury limited edition Trends Book special edition, 177 pages of Ideas, contacts, Trends and Special Artists.

Next edition will be in October 2020, for the first time a digital edition, with Great New Trends and a focus on Wine & Weddings during Milano Wine Week 2020.
Are you ready for new Emotions and Experiences?
