It is called “Tree of Wonder” and was designed by Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert, Creative Director of Swarovski, and was defined as “a real love letter to the city of Milan”. It is about 12 meters high, decorated with hundreds of crystal decorations signed by the well-known brand and 10,000 lights to illuminate it. Around the tree are Swarovski sculptures that reproduce symbolic places of Milan: the Duomo, the tram, the panettone, the Teatro Alla Scala, the Castello Sforzesco. A favourite destination for tourists and all, even every real Milanese citizen passes by to take a look, take a picture, and smile in front of this imposing giant shining tree.
Thus, for the eighth consecutive year, ignited this beautiful tradition.
