The Prancing Horse presented the Ferrari Portofino M, an update of the Portofino, which introduces a new 8-speed double-clutch automatic transmission and a 620 hp V8. The House of the Prancing Horse has dropped the veils from the Ferrari Portofino M, an update of the Portofino that introduces a newly designed eight-speed double-clutch automatic transmission and brings the 620 hp V8to debut.

The Clutch now has 8 gears – The M stands for “Modified”. The Ferrari Portofino M brings to debut a series of technical updates (and some slight stylistic ones) aimed at keeping Maranello’s front V8 convertible in step with the times. The new transmission – which for the first time is an eight-speed transmission on a Modenese roadster – uses a clutch module 20% smaller and allows the torque output to be increased by 35% compared to the transmission it replaces.

The V8 up to the 620 HP – New also for the engine: the Ferrari Portofino M is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 capable of developing 620 HP (at 7,500 rpm) and 760 Nm of torque (between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm). These values are valid for the Prancing Horse’s hard-top convertible, a 0-100 km/h in 3.45 seconds, a 0-200 km/h in 9.8 seconds and a top speed of over 320 km/h.

The renewed front bumper completes the Ferrari Portofino M. Prices and time to market yet to be announced, five-position adjustable Manettino (including the new Race) and a whole series of new options (including ventilated and heated seats, as well as numerous ADAS).
