The Italian shipyard delivered the Benetti FB277 M/Y Lana, the 107-meters yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, ready to sail the seas of the world with Imperial Yachts’ clients.
If we could photograph our dreams, the Benetti FB277 M/Y “Lana” would be one not to be missed. The new Giga yacht of the Benetti shipyards, the excellence of the Italian nautical industry based in Livorno, is one of the three yachts over 100 metres built by Benetti Yachts. Thus crossing the threshold of a new era, the so-called “Giga Season“, projected towards the production of large yachts.
Wool is the result of the experience Benetti has gained over the years in terms of pioneering technology, important collaborations in the field of design and lavish elegance. Is also the result of significant investments made in technological resources and the development of the infrastructure involved in the construction process. On June 18th the new yacht was delivered to the owner, who is enthusiastic about the work carried out by Benetti and Imperial Yachts, the Monaco-based company chosen as representative and Build Supervisor, who will manage this jewel of the sea.
Yacht of the Year – Considering the premises, it is not surprising that Lana has already won the “Yacht of the Year“ award, dedicated to boats over 270 feet (over 82 meters), during the last edition of the World Yachts Trophies held in Cannes. The Benetti FB277 MY “Lana” is the result of the design team at Benetti. The naval architecture is signed by P.L.A.N.A. (Pier Luigi Ausonio Naval Architecture), to which has been added the extraordinary commitment of the Livorno shipyard’s technicians, who have developed a service of technologically very advanced equipment managing to satisfy, in every detail, the owner’s wishes.
Experience to Live – With its 107 metres in length, the Benetti FB277 M/Y “Lana” has a gross tonnage of 3,900 tons and is powered by two-hybrid diesel-electric engines of 2,800 kW each, with a top speed of 18.5 knots and a range of 5,500 miles at cruising speed of 12 knots.
Equipped with no less than eight cabins, of which 7 VIPs decorated in a different colour scheme and located on the Main Deck, this yacht can accommodate 12 guests who will be given the proper attention by the crew of no less than 34 people. On the bridge, the full-beam owner’s cabin is the real jewel on board, with a contemporary luxury design and two terraces with magnificent sea views.
The experience that guests can enjoy onboard is extraordinary, thanks to the presence of a large swimming pool on the sun deck, a luxurious SPA with hammam and a gym with a massage room. The magic of this Giga yacht is completed by a helicopter take-off and landing platform and a grand piano, for evenings of music and sea view class.
The Lana is a very unique, elegant and imposing yacht, which is sure to give its guests an unforgettable experience.
