The veil of anticipation was lifted gracefully at Luxury Lugano, as the event commenced with a ceremonious ribbon-cutting ceremony graced by esteemed personalities. Honourable Mr Badaracco, the Deputy Mayor of Lugano, stood alongside the visionary force behind The Unique Show, Dalila Daffara, and the representatives of exhibitors, partners, and sponsors.
What followed was a spellbinding journey into the world of unrivalled brilliance and innovation, defying expectations as it welcomed almost double the anticipated guests, nearly 600 passionate collectors and aficionados.
At the heart of this glamorous showcase were the distinguished exhibitors, carefully handpicked for their distinctive values, exceptional designs, and unparalleled materials. Each brand and designer unfolded their narrative of unparalleled craftsmanship, weaving tales of tradition, innovation, and sheer brilliance.
The excellence of Lugano shone brightly through Boite d’Or, bewitched attendees with enchanting jewelry, each piece bearing a precious surprise within an ode to Italian design and the magic of uniqueness.
Another luminary, Scavia, is a century-old brand crafting exceptional jewels under the visionary direction of Fulvio Maria and Alessandro Scavia. Their exhibit radiated with gems of unparalleled beauty and style, encapsulating Lugano’s unique allure.
From the shores of Australia emerged Autore Pearls, unveiling a mesmerizing collection born from three decades of industry expertise. Their unconventional approach to pearl design pushed the boundaries, captivating all with unparalleled innovation.
Meanwhile, Aariya Diamonds, rooted in the UK, unveiled a new collection of ethically sourced diamonds a testament to their commitment to blending elegance with conscientious sourcing.
The American brand Ippolita showcased ready-to-wear collections, infusing everyday life with glamour inspired by the founder’s Florentine upbringing. The creations of Alexander Laut from Portugal, adorned with exclusively natural precious gemstones, drew gasps of admiration, especially the iconic strawberry pendant necklace that adorned the exhibit.
The Italian brand Gismondi 1754, revered for its craftsmanship, showcased diamond and gem masterpieces, notably the Vela necklace designed by CEO Massimo Gismondi a symbol of “indissoluble union” inspired by sailing the seas of life.
Meanwhile, Eleonora Federici, an Italian designer with a string of prestigious awards to her name, showcased jewels that seamlessly blended passion, craftsmanship, and elegance.
Sicis Jewels, known for its mastery in micro-mosaic craftsmanship, orchestrated a symphony between heritage and innovation, unveiling one-of-a-kind collectable watches and jewels that were entirely handmade an artistic journey like no other.
The architect behind this grandeur, Dalila Daffara, expressed her elation, emphasizing how The Unique Show had meticulously gathered the finest high jewellery and collectable watches, offering a platform that celebrated the industry’s excellence.
This remarkable success, a testament to years of dedication and expertise, was made possible through the unwavering support of esteemed partners, media, sponsors, and the team’s tireless effort. However, Luxury Lugano was not just an exhibition but an immersive experience a soirée of elegance and sophistication.
Guests indulged in the finest Champagne from Champagne Barons de Rothschild, paired with gourmet by Chef Raffaele Russo, all against the enchanting backdrop of live music that filled the air with an aura of sophistication.
Casinò Lugano, adding its charm to the evening, offered guests free gambling credits, elevating the allure of the location. The event further hosted a live photography session featuring luxury furs by Helen Yarmak, creating moments captured in the essence of opulence.
