Vicenzaoro, The Jewellery Boutique Show

Vicenzaoro

Gems, diamonds, pearls or innovative materials: the success of a gold and jewellery industry that aims at artistic expression must begin with skilfully selected raw materials. To promote the entire jewellery supply chain, from the finest raw materials to the excellence of the final result: this is one of Vicenzaoro’s objectives, as well as one of the reasons why the show, a longstanding international reference for the gold and jewellery world, organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) in Vicenza can confirm its sector leadership.

Inside the Essence community, all eyes will be on gems and diamonds, those primary elements of a final product that manages to achieve levels of an authentic masterpiece. In fact, in this district, visitors will be taken on a journey to the origin of the sector’s manufacturing chain where the power and role of the raw material in the final product will become explicitly clear. When skilfully selected and worked, precious or non-precious materials are the heart and soul of any item of jewellery that is able to astound and enchant the observer.

It is here that buyers from more than 130 countries will be able to meet the exhibitors to see the latest ideas and physically touch the sector’s most precious and innovative raw materials. The district is divided into two sections: the first, Essence Gems Diamonds & Pearls, groups together companies that specialize in the art of processing gems and diamonds specifically for precious and semi-precious stone trading; the second section, Essence Elements, provides a focus on non-precious components and innovative materials that accompany the jewellery world, to meet the needs of creativity in a finished product that increasingly looks towards fashion.

The journey is further embellished by Lab.Square, a brand-new area at Vicenzaoro that gathers together the world’s most qualified gemmological institutes to analyse precious stones. After debuting at Vicenzaoro September, in January, Lab.Square will see the return of IGI Milan and Danat. With the addition of Lab.Square, Vicenzaoro’s offer becomes increasingly more complete and extensive by grouping together, in one place and at one time, all the different phases of the supply and enriching the traders’ visit with further services.

Once more on the theme of gems, the training and information event has also been reconfirmed. Gem Talks, organized as usual in collaboration with the Italian Gemmological Institute, will be back  on 21st January with special focus on quartz and ruby. This year the event will also be sponsored by the sector’s most recognized national and international institutions: CIBJO, ICA, Federpreziosi, Associazione Italiana Gemmologi and Assogemme.
