To celebrate the world’s most excellent regatta, the Swiss watchmaker has created the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup Chronograph, a special edition that pays tribute to the 36th America’s Cup presented by PRADA.

Exclusive Equipment Made of stainless steel, the 44mm chronograph has a blue ceramic dial and a bezel ring that features a white enamelled diving scale. In order to promise better manageability of the watch in high waves, the pushers have been coated with soft-touch rubber and ergonomically designed to work efficiently in wet conditions and highlighted in red and blue.

The laser-engraved wave pattern dial includes a red anodised aluminium “regatta countdown indicator ring”‘. Features an hour disc below the dial and a red anodised aluminium minute hand, as well as small rhodium-plated seconds inspired by the shape of a boat’s hull. The central seconds’ chronograph hand and red anodised aluminium feature an America’s Cup on its counterweight.

Omega‘s CHRONO LOCK system is included to protect the chronograph functions when needed. A must when marking time on the water, as high-speed navigation leaves no room for error.

As with all great commemorative watches, the event and year are marked and highlighted in bold letters. On the Alveol-shaped case back, engravings filled with blue lacquer indicate “36th America’s Cup” and “Auckland 2021”.

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup has a metal bracelet and an additional rubber strap, both equipped with the new quick-change system. A simple push of a button releases the pins from the watch’s head, allowing the wearer to easily switch from bracelet to strap without the need for tools.

A 9900 Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre powers this exclusive timepiece, while a special case in the colours of America’s Cup completes the collector’s appeal.
