New Panerai Luminor Marina 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition

The Florentine brand has dropped the veil on the new Panerai Luminor Marina – 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition, a special edition limited to 70 units of the world-famous Italian timepiece. The Italian fashion house is celebrating 70 years since the invention of the Luminor (the famous tritium-based substance that guarantees luminosity in the dark) with the new Panerai Luminor Marina – 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition. This is the special edition (limited to 70 units and with a 70-year guarantee) of the famous Florentine timepiece known for its smiles in the world of scuba diving.

FEATURES & MOVEMENT – Featuring a rubberized coating on the bezel, the new Panerai Luminor Marina – 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition has the same layer the bridge lever and crown, as well as a 3D-printed DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) titanium case. Simultaneously, the domed crystal reveals a shaded dial that is reminiscent of the thinning of light in the depths of the sea.

This watch’s beating heart is a P.9010 calibre with a mechanical self-winding movement (only 6 mm thick) comprising 200 components, 31 jewels and capable of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Equipped with a Glucydur balance and an Incabloc shock-resistant device, this timepiece promises up to 72 hours of power reserve (thanks in part to a double-barrel solution). It features an engraving Guillaume Néry on the back.

Also available with a luminescent white rubber strap (an absolute first for the Italian brand), this timepiece can resist up to 30 atmospheres of pressure and is water-resistant to a depth of about 300 metres. And if you don’t like the rubber solution, there’s always the black recycled P.E.T. bracelet with visible white stitching, traditional buckle and DLC titanium clasp.

Only available through authorized Panerai dealers, the new Luminor Marina – 44mm Guillaume Néry Edition comes with a screwdriver for removing the buckle and a recycled plastic box bearing the signature Guillaume Néry, after whom this special edition is named.
