We asked him about the hair-trends for the 2019 bride.

“Semplicitas vincit omnia, sempre”, says Carmelo Spina “For 2019 the watchwords for the bride will be simplicity and elegance”. The hair will be skillfully collected in chignons with regular symmetries, cared for in the volumes and made appealing by friezes of braids and waves. They say goodbye to soft unstructured and shabby chic hairstyles. The random harvest thus leaves room for the surgical precision of the brush and hairdryer: buns and tails will no longer be lateral, but well centered to adorn the head. Among the proposed styling, captivating touches of frisé, which – abandoned the exaggerations of the seventies and eighties – have given a touch of geometric modernity to the classic hairstyles.

Braids composed or skillfully moved by the frisé texture gathered on the head to slide neatly on the nape, or loose and well combed hairstyles in soft waves and regular volume that enhance the facial features. Ponytails, on the other hand, are low on the nape of the neck and moved by waves with a defined shape. The bridal must-have is the chignon, composed and elegant, low and soft or high and with a touch of austerity to give impetus to the figure.

No more excessive volumes or disorderly gatherings, the hairstyles are elegant and disciplined, proportionate to the features of the face.

The garment will be embellished and the simplicity of the lines enriched by accessories, chosen according to the mood of the dress, such as combs encrusted with crystals and pearls or tiaras and broaches with a vintage appeal for the most romantic.

The veil becomes the protagonist, in light tulle and finely edged with lace or short in front of the face, to be chosen according to the style and importance of the ceremony.
