My Own Seychelles, Between Luxury and Privacy

My own Seychelles, Luxury Travels

I have personally been in the Seychelles a dozen of times, and every time I end up being amazed and reiterating my idea that this paradise is a really unique destination thanks to the variety of the islands, the resorts offer, obviously the sea and the sensational nature of the three main islands, Mahè, Praslin and La Digue, and much more.

Seychelles, luxury and privacy

But the whole archipelago offers the best version of itself when it comes to luxury. People often think of Bora Bora, Fiji, Caribbean islands, or the overwater bungalows in the Maldives, but it is in Seychelles that we can find the most luxurious resort islands in the world. They can only be reached by small twin-engine planes or by helicopter straight from the airport, and it is not a coincidence that they are the favourite destination of Hollywood actors, singers and international stars. Even the members of the Royal Family have been going there for years: William and Kate got engaged there and chose them as the destination for their honeymoon, far away from the photographers and the spotlights.

Choosing a private island at the Seychelles for a super-luxurious holiday means extreme privacy, top-level service, gourmet gastronomy, and finally a wide selection of resorts, isolated but sumptuous, with royal villas within walking distance of a dream sea. For all the tastes and for all the budgets.

Some examples?

North Island is absolutely the most luxurious island, not only for its 450-square-metre villas with a 24/7 butler and an electric buggy at your disposal, swimming-pools and private home-theatre, but also for the all-inclusive service: lobsters, exquisite wine and champagne, all limitless and available at any time of day and night. You just need to ask.

Seychelles luxury and privacy islands

Fregate Island follows closely behind in the ranking of the most famous islands. Extreme privacy guaranteed, a panoramic overhanging swimming-pool and a private beach. The disposition of the villas is designed to prevent you from being seen by anyone during all your stay.

In the top-level ranking it is worth including also Desroches Island (now location of a Four Season), the Six Senses Zil Pasyon hotel on the small granite island of Felicite, and the tiny Cousine resort on the namesake island. There are only four rooms and one 625-square-metre presidential villa, plus the possibility to reserve the entire island at the exclusive use of a numerous family or a group of entrepreneurs and friends.

A special mention of Denis Island, which offers more affordable bungalows and high-quality beaches, distinguishing itself for being an eco-sustainable and self-sufficient island.

This is why I always call them “My own Seychelles”: because they can offer to me, VIP couples or families, really anything we want.
