The Quellenhof Resort in South Tyrol’s Val Passiria will reopen on 6 April. Heinrich Dorfer, the owner, is delighted to announce the news: “We are delighted to starting up again after a long period of closure. Together with our staff, we are ready to welcome our guests in a complete safe ambient, with some new features, as for example the Rooftop Spa with its panoramic sauna and the infinity pool made entirely of glass, and with the health services offered by the Quellenhof Medical Centre.
They strongly believed the right pathway is to focus and follow the luxury market. Thanks to this strategy the Quellenhof Resort has been awarded as the perfect destination for every kind of holiday, thanks to the unparalleled offer in all sectors. There are two 5 Stars Resorts, one in Val Passiria in South Tyrol and the other in Lazise on Lake Garda.
But let’s go back and rewind… South Tyrol – Merano. After a long stop, started on 2nd November 2020, the resort is finally ready to restart. It’s easy to feel and “touch” the great enthusiasm from the staff and the owner Heinrich Dorfer, who emphasises the fact that South Tyrol is a destination with many strong add values: the open spaces surrounded by nature, the accessibility, the presence of facilities that have invested so much to be perfect in line with covid procedures. Finally today they can fully guarantee the maximum quality and protection.
To support the health of guests, whether travelling for business or for health reasons, the resort also offers special packages at the Quellenhof Medical Centre and the excellent service of dental surgery directly in the spa.
The closing months were therefore used to carry out some maintenance and modernisation work. Guesthouse F (ex-Forellenhof) now shines in a new design, the rooms have been extended and renovated. In addition, a new wellness area, the ‘Rooftop-Spa’ with panoramic sauna, all-glass infinity pool and other relaxation areas has been created.
To ensure a covid-free environment, Quellenhof Resort staff are regularly tested and regarding the guests, specific documentation and tests are requested, with the possibility for Italian guests to take the test before checking in.
Once in the hotel, guests can enjoy the entire resort without any restrictions, apart from having to book steam baths in the sauna. The Resort’s strengths remain, from the variety of suites and rooms to choose from to the saunas and outdoor pools, the choice of restaurants (including a Teppanyaki) and the pampering in the resort’s indoor and outdoor areas.
